Billy & the Buttons performed original music in Hartford, Connecticut in  the 1980's. The band has been described as pun-rock, skitz-rock and nice-guy new-wave.  Dig Billy’s clever lyrics, and the band’s wild music.  Stylistically they jumped from rockabilly to punk, to ska.


Two fun packed music videos.  Billy’s songs suggest visuals.  Perhaps cause he's an artist in real life.
Sure, they were made in the 80's, but they stand up today because they're based on concepts, not fashion.

A documentary of the band who claimed to be "Off the beaten wall." 

Audio and video excerpts, stills and music comprise this rock doc.

Sections include Billy's early weird songs, Button bios, animation, and newly discovered footage.

Besides rockin' in the clubs, the lads rented theaters and performed their comedy skits.

Narration is provided by Brute Force®, known for his quirky 1967 album Confections of Love.

Editing by Suzanne LaTulipe is as exciting as the music.
